This is a driving tour. We will gather at the Polin Memorial as the first site. From there we will head to the top of the river and wind our way down stopping at various sites that tell the story of the Presumpscot River. These include the Gambo Powder mills, dams, natural riverways, fishing locations, industrial areas and the restored falls and fish ladders. We will travel by carpool with maps.
