America Outdoors (national association of America's
outfitters and guides) photo contest for National River Clean Up Week in
2003
Cold, wet and happy 8th grade students from Wescott Junior High School
in Westbrook and Sandy Cort, FOPR board member during National River Clean
Up Week, May 2003 on the Presumpscot. National River Clean Up Week
is sponsored by America Outdoors, the national organization of rafters and
guides and FOPR participated in this event in conjunction with Maine's rafting
organization, Raft Maine. This photo won first place in their photo
contest, along with a $100 donation to FOPR. We are looking forward
to doing it again in the spring of '04 for the third time with the Raft Maine
Association.
